Short-Term Furniture Making Courses

Dovetails tools and workbench

My ethos is learning by making. Beginner’s courses are aimed at helping you master core techniques and skills by crafting a beautiful object that you will be proud to take home with you. If you undertake additional courses, your training will be structured to help you extend your skills and portfolio of work. You will clearly see and measure your progress.

The furniture making courses are offered in a modular format, allowing you to build on your knowledge and skills. Each module works as a stand-alone, or you can progress through the modules, building up your skills and knowledge step by step. I can provide guidance to help you select the most suitable module, whether you prefer a one-off course or want to work through the modules, beginning at the point that best matches your existing skill level.

The woodworking courses are each marked with a suggested skill-level: beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Some courses may be suitable for more than one skill-level. For guidance on what course is right for you please get in touch by emailing me at info@amfinefurniture.co.uk or calling 078 11 262360.
